Daywear, but just that little less casual. I die for that leather dress!

First days of Fall

Source: shopbop.com

Must-have: the striped tshirt dress (here Free People)

Black leather

Source: net-a-porter

LOVE: black leather for some tough girl chique.
From dresses to shorts, skirts, jackets and tops: super expensive but worth the investment I think!

From left to right: Bird by Juicy Couture dress (fave), Thakoon drape dress, Sandro shorts, Lot78 jacket, l'Agence skirt.

Aviatrix

Although it's huge this fall, I'm not feeling the Aviator trend. This look though, works. I love the combination of the thigh high boots with the lace dress.

Christian Louboutin boots
Adam jacket
Marc by Marc Jacobs lace dress
Temperly London belt

Suede

I dare you to find anything wrong with this outfit.

Halston suede wrap dress

Lanvin bag
Louboutin shoes.

Beauty FW10

My favorite (wearable) fall beauty look: Versace.
Loose waves curling in the ends, softred lips and a black line on the upper lid.
Very flattering!

Stella

I'd buy her entire collection in a second if I had the money.

H&M Fall 2010

Source: Style with Isabelle

With brands like H&M an Zara, the line between inspiration and stealing is always rather vague. Again dancing on the cord, H&M is soon launcing its Fall collection (who, Celine?). Anyways, I hope that dress comes in black!

All three looked picture perfect, although Blake and Leighton aren't exactly season-coordinated :) looks a bit weird

net-a-porter

I hate to be posting all this winter stuff when temperatures are around 25 degrees outside, but I can't help myself, it's too pretty. The things I love about summer are definitely the flowy fabrics and healthy sunkissed skin, but what is amazing about winter really is the endless layering possibilties...

Stella McCartney (queen of lace) shift dress
Lanvin ring
Christian Louboutin shoes
Jimmy Choo bag
Rick Owens jacket
Donna Karan top
Bottega Veneta pants and boots
Proenza Schouler bag
YSL scarf
Kenneth Jay Lane ring

Louis Vuitton FW10 ad campaign

Although I loved the concept of the return to the big busts, I wasn't really feeling the Louis Vuitton fashion show. But that is now totally compensated by the ad campaign. How GORGEOUS! Steven Meisel shot models Christy Turlington, Natalia Vordinova and Karen Elson in an oldfashioned Hollywood dressing room and created perfect fifties flair. How gorgeous. I also find the bags remarkable, that are all beautiful reinventions of Vuitton's favorite classics. Reinventing, says Marc Jacobs, is the house's strength. I agree.

The Gucci Effect

I have never been a Gucci fan, but I really like Frida Giannini's fall 2010 collection. The polished sexy glamour that is so typical for the house of Gucci (and that I don't care for too much) still shone through, but was softened by actual classic, sophisticated pieces and fabrics, like the camel. Net-a-porter (who will for the first time carry Gucci) did of course a lovely photoshoot, picking out the collection's best features.
